Traditional machining and polishing

We have approved a partner sharing our demanding standards and able to read our CAD files directly. It produces very high quality products within very tight deadlines.

Light guide made entirely by machining, since the prototype tool option was not economically attractive.

Before starting machining of the final tool, our customer required life size verification of our optical engineering design. Although the output was of lower quality, it allowed correlation with the theoretical photometric design.

The time allowed was two weeks.

Collimator machined on the lower face for functional testing before machining the final cavities in the tool.
