This part is in a DLP backlighting system. It is injection moulded in optical quality PMMA or PC. It consists of a network of micro lenses - R 1.7 mm, pitch 1.3 mm.

After moulding, anti-reflection coating by evaporation. Production of a prototype cavity, making it possible to produce a hundred parts in three weeks for a limited investment.

Advantage: validation of the optical and mechanical concept with components produced under actual production conditions.

Quality level: ≤ 10 µm form faults and roughness ≤ 10 ηm.
