Fresnel lenses for automotive light guides

This component combines several mechanical functions in a single part.

It is injection moulded in high temperature optical quality PMMA. A 2-cavity mould was produced, then a 4-cavity tool with hot block injection.

Quality level: 35 µm form faults and roughness ≤ 10 ηm.

The parts are injection moulded in PC in a 4 cavity tool.

The grooves have a pitch of 0.75 mm and angles varying from 40° to 89°. Angles are square tooth root angles.

Quality level: The radius at tooth tip is ≤ 50 µm, roughness is ≤ à 10 ηm.
