Gives a very narrow beam by combining an internal reflection surface and a Fresnel lens at the outlet. The pitch varies from 0.4 to 0.5 mm, and the angles from 38° to 72°.

Gaggione has defined and optimised the mechanical design for assembly (UV bonding) on a PCB and a treated brass body.

Quality level: 10 µm form faults and roughness ≤ 10 ηm.

• Variable beam lighting

Set of collimators and holders mounted on a PCB with 9 led sources (cold white and amber) for architectural lighting application.

Gaggione collaborated on the co-design for optimisation of the mechanical design between the collimator and the holder. Moulding in very thick (Ø 32 x h 18 mm) optical quality PMMA.

Quality level: ≤ 20 µm form faults and roughness ≤ 10 ηm.
